One potential improvement involves long-pressing the video call button on a contact card. This action would open a menu allowing users to set a default video calling app, such as a carrier-based service or WhatsApp. Setting a third-party app as the default will display its icon on the video call button. Subsequently, a single tap on the button will directly initiate a video call through the chosen app, streamlining the process. If a contact has multiple numbers, long-pressing the video call button will present a list of all available calling options, further simplifying the process.
